India Logs 188 New Coronavirus Cases, Active Cases Decline To 2,554

According to information issued on Thursday by the Union health ministry, 188 new coronavirus infections have been detected in India, while the number of current cases has dropped to 2,554.

According to data updated at 8 a.m., the overall number of Covid cases is 4,46,79,319, and the death toll is 5,30,710, with three deaths reconciled by Kerala.

The weekly positivity is estimated at 0.12%, while the daily positivity is 0.10 percent, the ministry reported.

Active cases is 0.01 percent of all infections

According to the website of the health ministry, the number of active cases is 0.01 percent of all infections, while the national recovery rate has improved to 98.80 percent.

There have been 4,41,46,055 patients who have recovered from the infection, a 1.19 percent case fatality rate, and a decrease of 16 cases in the active Covid caseload over the course of a single day.

According to the ministry’s website, 220.12 crore doses of the Covid vaccine have apparently been administered throughout the country thus far.

On September 28, it passed the 60 lakh mark. On October 11, the 70 lakh mark. On October 29, the 80 lakh mark. On November 20, it passed the 90 lakh mark. On December 19, 2020, it passed the 1 crore mark.
