India witnesses Covid cases rise, in last 24 hours 1134 cases reported

Corona virus is spreading again in the country. In the last 24 hours, 1134 new cases of covid have been registered. The number of infected is increasing continuously. Due to this, the figure of active patients has also crossed 7 thousand. It is a matter of concern that now the infection rate (positivity rate) of corona is also increasing. In three states, it has crossed five per cent. According to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, an infection rate of more than 5 percent indicates the rapid spread of covid. In this situation, adequate steps need to be taken to stop the virus.

According to the covid India dashboard, the infection rate of covid in Himachal Pradesh, Goa and the country’s capital Delhi is more than 5 percent. The positivity rate in all these three states has been increasing continuously for the last four days.

Increasing the positivity rate means that now more people are getting infected per test. More than 5 people are getting Covid positive in these states for every 100 tests, whereas till a week ago this rate was only 2 per cent. In view of the increasing danger of Covid, experts have also advised people to take precautions.

According to Dr Yudhveer Singh, Professor in the Department of Critical Care at AIIMS New Delhi – the graph of Covid is increasing since last one week. This is happening because of the virus being active in this season. People are not following the Covid protocol. In such a situation, the virus is getting a chance to flourish. People are advised to follow the rules of prevention from covid now. Make sure to wear a mask while going out and avoid living in crowded areas. By doing this, the virus will be easily protected.

Cases may increase for a few days

Dr. Ajay Kumar, MD Medicine and Senior Physician in Delhi, says that for a few days, the cases of Covid may increase in the country. This is because flu is also spreading and people are complaining of cough and cold. People are also getting the Covid test done, in which some positive cases are being found. Although the cases are not increasing very fast. For the next few days, a similar jump will be seen in the cases, but they will not increase at such a pace that there is any danger.

High risk people should be alert

According to Dr. Ajay, the symptoms of Covid are also similar to those of normal flu. There is nothing to panic in this, but high-risk people like the elderly and people suffering from chronic diseases should be cautious. They should protect themselves from the virus. They are advised to avoid coming in contact with any infected person and must use mask.
