Hyundai Ioniq 7: Hyundai’s all-new electric SUV, Ioniq 7 has been recently spotted testing in Germany. The all-electric SUV was earlier showcased as “Seven Concept in 2021 by the automaker. The latest spy shots of the car’s testing indicate that the Ioniq 7 is close to the production stage and can make its global debut in 2024. Check out more details of the electric SUV below.

Hyundai Ioniq 7 Details

Hyundai Ioniq 7 will be offered as a full-size electric SUV which will offer a range of over 300 miles in a single charge. Ioniq 7 comes based on the Hyundai’s globally recognized E-GMP electric vehicle platform which is also the same platform used in Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6.

Hyundai Ioniq 5 Design

Although heavily camouflaged, Ioniq 7 seems to have a similar design language as the “Seven Concept” shown in the 2021 LA Auto Show. The electric SUV now gets slimmer LED DRLs and the vertically stacked LED headlamps mounted on the bumper. Other exterior details of the Ioniq 7 include a blacked-out roof, roof rails, body-coloured ORVMs with turn indicators, extended roofline smoothly blending with the rear profile and flared wheel arches.

Ioniq 7 seems to have a simple and clean design at the rear as it gets a vertical LED taillights setup. Additionally, the SUV is expected to come with a pixel theme and flushed door handles.

Ioniq 7 Powertrain

Ioniq 7 gets the same powertrain that powers the Kia EV9. The automaker is expected to launch the electric SUV in multiple variants. The base model is expected to be powered by a 76.1 kWh battery pack coupled to a rear axle-mounted motor generating almost 350 Nm torque. Another variant could be a long-range model with a 99.8 kWh battery pack which will offer a driving of more than 400 km in a single charge.
