A 796 cc, 3-cylinder F8D engine powers the Maruti Suzuki Alto. This engine produces 69 Nm of torque in addition to 47 horsepower. The vehicle features a manual 5-speed transmission. The car’s BS6 engine has undergone numerous hardware and software modifications. The Maruti Alto 800  BS6 engine can cut nitrogen oxides by up to 25%. The exhaust system has also been updated by Maruti Suzuki.

The side fenders and bumper on the new Alto 800 have been updated. A two-tone colour scheme has been added to the Maruti Alto 800’s seats and dashboard. Along with the BS-6 Norms engine, the new Maruti Alto 800 automobile features a number of other modifications.

Price in India

The price of the car has increased due to the higher safety regulations and will now be Rs 2.94 lakh for the base variant, Rs 3.5 lakh for the LXI model, and Rs 3.72 lakh for the VXI variant. In the past, the Alto 800 had a Rs 2.67 lakh base price. This could result in the new Alto costing between 22 and 28 thousand rupees more than the previous model. With updated styling and eye-catching features starting at 3.39 lakhs, the Maruti Alto 800 is the best pick for middle-class families.
