Budget 2022: President’s address begins, know important updates of budget session

The budget session 2022 has started with the speech of President Ram Nath Kovind. The President will address both the House. Under this, the budget session will be organized in two parts- the first part will be of the budget session which will end on February 11. The second part of the budget session will begin on March 14 and end on April 8. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Economic Survey 2021-22 today.

During his address, President Ram Nath Kovind said that the government is making all efforts to deal with Corona. Free ration is being given to the poor. The largest food distribution program is being run in India and it has been extended till March 2022. The President said that the government has achieved record production and exports in the agriculture sector and the credit goes to the small farmers.

The President said that during the Corona era, the Indian pharma sector has also proved its superiority. At present, the products of Indian pharma companies are reaching more than 180 countries, but the scope for India in this field is much wider. The PLI scheme announced by the government for the pharma industry will expand these possibilities and give impetus to research.

The budget session has started in the Parliament of the country from today. The Economic Survey of the country will be presented in the Parliament before the budget session. There will be no Zero Hour in the Parliament session today. At the same time, tomorrow that is on February 1, the country’s budget is being presented, so there will be no zero hour tomorrow.

All-party meeting has been called in the budget session. This meeting will be held today at 3:30 pm, in which the government will discuss the proceedings during the session, bills and for productive House proceedings in a peaceful manner. At the same time, at 3:45 pm, there will be a press conference of the Chief Economic Advisor on the Economic Survey. In which many important information will be discussed.
