“E Shinde Does Mujra In Delhi…”: Uddhav Thackeray Comments

Shiv Sena chief and former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Wednesday hit out at CM Eknath Shinde over the Vedanta-Foxconn controversy. Uddhav Thackeray launched a scathing attack against CM Eknash Shinde for not raising the issue of Vedanta-Foxconn semiconductor plant deal with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Vedanta-Foxconn Semiconductor Plant deal was earlier going to happen in Pune, Maharashtra, but a few days ago it has been done for Gujarat. Maharashtra BJP and Shinde faction are facing opposition’s anger over this.

Uddhav Thackeray asked CM Eknath Shinde in a program, “CM Eknath Shinde has gone to Delhi again today to do ‘Mujra’… Why do Maharashtra’s projects go to other states? Why doesn’t he talk to the PM (Narendra Modi) about this? Don’t they have the courage to speak on this?”Uddhav Thackeray said this while addressing around 25,000 Shiv Sainiks packing the Nesco Convention Center in Goregaon.

The Uddhav faction believes that the move to shift the project from Maharashtra to Gujarat is to separate Mumbai from Maharashtra. Thackeray has accused the BJP and Shinde faction MLAs of treating Mumbai like a lucrative piece of real estate.

Uddhav Thackeray said at a meeting of the previous party chiefs, the primary organizational cadre of Shiv Sena, “Vultures are moving forward to kill. They want to capture Mumbai. They are hovering over Mumbai to grab the loot.” Thackeray also challenged Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who had called upon BJP workers to defeat the Shiv Sena in the BMC polls. Uddhav Thackeray said, conduct civic and state assembly elections in the next month or so and show us defeating us.
