If Congress wants, BJP will go below 100 seats in Bihar…: Nitish Kumar

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has given a formula to stop the Bharatiya Janata Party below 100 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, with a disclaimer that if the Congress accepts his suggestion, then it is fine, and if not, then the saffron party at the Center No one can stop him from coming to power. Speaking at the 11th General Convention of CPI-ML, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said, ‘We are waiting, just you people (Congress) should take a quick decision. If you people follow my suggestion and fight together, then BJP will go below 100, but if you don’t follow my suggestion then you know what will happen.’

Nitish asked the Congress and other opposition parties to take a decision as soon as possible

He said that the Congress should now decide further. He should not delay in uniting the opposition parties. We are waiting. Congress should call the opposition leaders and decide from where with whom to contest the elections. Nitish said that he went to Delhi and met Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. Nitish Kumar said to Salman Khurshid, who was present on the stage, “There is an appeal to the Congress leadership that if everyone unites, the BJP will be settled under 100 seats.” Opposition parties are working unitedly in Bihar. When we parted ways with the NDA, the leaders of all the opposition parties welcomed the decision. In 2024, everyone will fight unitedly, only then the BJP will be wiped out.

‘People of all religions and castes will have to walk together’

The Chief Minister of Bihar further said in his address, ‘Today an attempt is being made to change the history of the freedom struggle. People of all religions and castes will have to walk together. I have no personal desire for leadership. We only want change. Whatever everyone decides will happen. Nitish Kumar said that if the Congress and other opposition parties fight the elections unitedly, it will benefit everyone and the people of the country will also benefit from it. Apart from the leaders of the Left parties, Bihar’s Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav, Congress leader Salman Khurshid, JDU National President Lalan Singh and many other big politicians were present in the national convention of CPI-ML held at SK Memorial Hall in Patna.
