There have been 11 attacks on BJP leaders in Tamil Nadu in the past few days after the NIA’s swift action on PFI across the country. In all these cases, special teams of police are investigating and there are reports of interrogation of more than 350 people in custody.
There is talk of involvement of PFI and SDPI workers in these. On the other hand, DMK has put BJP and RSS in the dock with questions regarding the incidents in Tamil Nadu.
DMK has made big allegations against BJP in a full page article on its mouthpiece Murasoli. Murasoli claimed that such examples only show the true colors of the RSS. As the police have made many arrests related to the crimes.
The article states that Annamalai, claiming that law and order has broken down, writes a letter to Home Minister Amit Shah and says he will organize a protest rally. These developments are creating doubts among the public.Tamil Nadu BJP President K Annamalai has written to Union Home Minister Amit Shah about the deteriorating law and order situation in Tamil Nadu, urging him to take immediate action on incidents of petrol bombs being thrown at homes and offices of BJP and RSS workers in the state.
DMK said this shows that BJP and RSS will fall to any level and the police should look into the above matters. The real culprits should be found and brought to justice. Refuting this claim, BJP spokesperson Narayanan Tirupati said that PFI and SDPI are targeting BJP and RSS workers.
