Sachin Vaze letter bomb: Nia has rejected his letter

Mumbai Police constable Sachin Vaze has now dropped a ‘letter bomb’ and has accused Maharashtra cabinet minister and Shiv Sena minister Anil Parab in Extortion racket.

Vaze, who is currently in NIA custody in the Antilia bomb case also said that he had refused to do so and that when he initiated action against illegal gutkha sellers.

He also claimed that former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh had also demanded Rs 2 crore from him to continue his service in the Mumbai Police.

The NIA court, however, refused to take the letter on record and asked Labyrinth to follow the necessary procedure.

Transport Minister Anil Parab dismissed Vaze’s allegations, saying he was not involved in any extortion case and it was a conspiracy to defame the BJP’s Maharashtra Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government.

“To discredit the Chief Minister (Uddhav Thackeray), it was necessary to provoke someone close to the Chief Minister and this is part of the agenda being pursued by the BJP,” said Parab.

He said, “I am ready to be investigated by any agency whether NIA, RAW or anyone. I am also ready for the narco test. If I am found guilty, then chief Uddhav Thackeray can hang me. ”

He said that he will fight the case legally.

In his four-page letter, Vaze alleged that former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh and current Transport Minister Anil Parab asked him to collect the money, but he refused. He also said that he was approached for money by a man claiming to be close to Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar.

Deshmukh and Ajit Pawar belong to the Nationalist Congress Party, while Parab is a member of the Shiv Sena. The Congress is the third partner in the state’s coalition government.

On March 25, Vaze requested the court to allow him to say something in relation to the case. The court asked him to make his submission in writing. When he brought the letter on Wednesday, the court refused to accept it.

Vaze’s lawyer said, “We handed over the letter to the court, but the court refused to accept it and asked us to follow the correct procedure.”

As part of the process, he will make a confidential statement or a statement under section 164 of the Criminal Procedure Code (statement before the magistrate), which we are not ready to do. ”
