UP Election 2022: PM Modi on Prayagraj visit today, will give cash scheme to 16 lakh women

Before the Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election 2022, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is doing a quick visit in UP. Prime Minister Modi is going to give a big gift to women on Tuesday.

The Prime Minister will visit Prayagraj on Tuesday and participate in a unique program with the presence of over two lakh women. The government gave information about this. In the last one month, PM Modi will spend the 10th day in Uttar Pradesh. Before the elections, PM Modi has taken the command of BJP’s election campaign in his hands. Elections are likely to be held in Uttar Pradesh in less than two months.

In the advertisements given in the newspaper, the government said that this program is being organized according to the vision of Prime Minister Modi to empower women. The Prime Minister will transfer an amount of 1000 crores to the accounts of Self Help Groups, which will benefit about 16 lakh women members.

The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) said in a release, “This transfer will be done under the Deendayal Upadhyaya Yojana – National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY), in which 80,000 self-help groups will receive a Community Investment Fund (CIF) of Rs 1.10 lakh per SHG and Rs 15,000 per SHG to 60,000 SHGsof revolving (revolving) funds.”

During the programme, the Prime Minister will also transfer an amount of Rs 4,000 as first month’s stipend to the accounts of 20,000 of them, to encourage business agent-sakhis (BC-Sakhis).

In this program, PM Modi will transfer a total amount of more than 20 crores to more than one lakh beneficiaries under the ‘Mukhyamantri Kanya Sumangala Yojana’. This plan provides conditional cash transfer to a girl child at different stages of her life. The total transfer is Rs 15,000 per beneficiary.
