Wearing Mask Is Mandatory In Delhi Again

Mask mandatory in Delhi: Amidst the rising corona cases in Delhi, once again strict restrictions seem to be returning. In the latest decision, wearing of masks has been made mandatory again in the capital. A provision of a fine of Rs 500 has been made for not wearing a mask.

The masks have returned after the daily surge in corona cases. For this, an SOP will also be issued, in which the matter of strict adherence to the Covid protocol can be recorded. Apart from this, in the meeting of DDMA, it has been agreed not to close the schools for the time being.

After reducing the corona cases in Delhi, the fine of Rs 500 for not wearing a face mask has been removed, since then very few people were wearing masks. In view of the rapid spread of corona infection at present, the requirement of mask has been implemented again.

After a steady decrease in corona cases in the capital, once again there is a spurt in new infections. Between April 11-18, the infection rate in Delhi has increased almost three times. Since then it was believed that DDMA can take some tough decisions during the meeting.

On Tuesday, 632 new cases of corona were reported in Delhi, with which the number of active cases of corona has exceeded 1900. Simultaneously, the infection rate is also fluctuating and on Monday the positivity rate had crossed 7.5 percent.
