Weather Update: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted several states to be lashed by rains, beginning today. This change in weather trends will stay till next week and nationwide, almost every state is likely to get affected by rains and hailstorms. The department has also advised natives to stay cautious as weather conditions will start to worsen soon.
The states that are to be affected include interior Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Odisha, West Bengal and Jharkhand during 15th-17th March and over Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan & Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan on 16th & 17th March 2023.
Delhi
Mostly cloudy weather is predicted for the national capital today. There are chances of light to moderate rainfall in several regions as well. Rains will impact the region from Saturday. The maximum temperature, for today, will be 30 degrees and the minimum will be 21 degrees.
Mumbai
A rather pleasant day is predicted for Mumbai and its suburbs in the latest weather forecast. The sky is projected to remain partly overcast with minimal chances of rain. For today, the maximum temperature will be 32 degrees and the minimum will be 26 degrees.
Chennai
IMD has predicted Chennai to remain in the same conditions as that of Mumbai. The sky will remain partially cloudy and the temperature will somewhat remain pleasant. However, the rains will drench the region from Saturday onwards. For today, the maximum temperature will be 32 degrees and minimum will be 25 degrees.
Kolkata
Kolkata is predicted to remain moderately cloudy along with normal temperatures. The city will witness rains from the weekend, until then the weather will mostly remain dry. For today, the maximum temperature will be 33 degrees and minimum will be 24 degrees.
