CBSE 10th 12th Results 2025: When Will the Board Declare the Result? Here's How to Apply for Rechecking?

CBSE results of class 10th and 12th to be announced soon most probably this week. Students should be aware of the confirmed date which is not clear yet. They should also know the process for rechecking.

The results of CBSE class X and XII are expected to be announced soon. Students are eagerly waiting for their results but they are not sure about date of announcement. There is no official confirmation from CBSE yet.

When Will CBSE Declare The Result?

About forty four lakh CBSE registered students are waiting for the result of their Class X and Class XII exams. This year board examination of class X was organised from 15th February 2025 to 1st March 2025. Class XII board exam was organised from 15th February 2025 to 4th April 2025. After release of results, students can check their results on the official website of CBSE at cbse.gov.in. Other related websites are:
•    results.cbse.nic.in
•    cbse.nic.in
•    digilocker.gov.in
•    results.gov.in. 
Students can also check their results on mobile apps Digilocker and UMANG and through SMS also. The result is expected to be announced very soon; most probably by 15th May 2025.

How to Check Result on Digilocker?

•    Visit the official website/app of Digilocker
•    Click on login and fill your details
•    Click on submit 
•    Click on Class 10 or Class 12 result 
•    Fill your details and click on submit.
•    Your result will be shown

How to Apply For Rechecking?

After the declaration of result, CBSE will open the rechecking window for students. This is a critical for students who are not satisfied with their results and want to confirm correct assessment. Students have following options under the rechecking process:
•    Verification of Marks: To confirm all answers are checked and marks are added correctly. Application for rechecking normally starts within 2-3 days after result and continue for around 5 days.
•    Obtaining Photocopy of Answer Sheet: To request a photo copy of their answer sheet for verification. This option normally opens for two days after the verification period end.
•    Re-evaluation: Particular answers can be re-evaluated for probable mistakes in marking. Usually, this process is open for 2-3 days after photocopy process.

Following are the Step-by-Step procedure for Rechecking that students should follow:
•    Visit Official Website:  cbse.gov.in.
•    Go on Rechecking Section, search for the ‘Examination’ tab and select ‘Apply for Revaluation’.
•    Select your option: Verification of Marks, Photocopy of Answer Sheet, or Re-evaluation.
•    Fill details: Roll Number, School Number, and other details.
•    Pay Fees: Complete the payment online using a debit/credit card or net banking.
•    Submit: Save the confirmation receipt for future reference.

Although students are continuously waiting for their results of class X and XII but there is no official announcement from CBSE. After declaration of results unsatisfied students can apply for rechecking by following the appropriate procedure.
