Delhi Metropolitan Education (DME), Noida Hosts Grand Degree Distribution Ceremony with Chief Guest Mr Prabhu Chawla

Noida, 1st March 2024: The Media and Management departments of Delhi Metropolitan Education (DME), Noida, organized a prestigious Degree Distribution Ceremony to celebrate the academic achievements of its graduates. The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries, with Mr. Prabhu Chawla, Editorial Director of the New Indian Express Group, as the Chief Guest.

The ceremony commenced with the arrival of the Chief Guest, followed by a formal meeting with dignitaries. Ms Garima Jain warmly welcomed the guests, setting an enthusiastic tone for the event. The traditional Lighting of the Lamp, showcasing glimpses of DME Noida, and the felicitation of Mr. Prabhu Chawla marked the beginning of the celebration.

Dr. Parul Mehra, Head of the Media School, and Dr. Poorva Ranjan, Head of the Management School, delivered the welcome address, expressing gratitude to the distinguished guests. The event proceeded with opening remarks from Dr Ravikant Swami, Director of DME, followed by an inspiring address from Hon'ble Mr Justice Bhanwar Singh, Director General of DME Noida and Former Judge of the Allahabad High Court.

The highlight of the event was Mr. Prabhu Chawla's keynote address. In his speech, he shared the story of his life journey and his reasons for opting for journalism. He also emphasized how Indian journalism has changed over time.
The much-awaited Degree Distribution segment saw graduates from BAJMC Batch 2019-22, BBA Batch 2020-23, and BAJMC Batch 2020-23 receiving their degrees, marking the culmination of their academic journey at DME. 

The ceremony concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Dr Navya Jain, Academic Coordinator of the Management School, and Dr Yamini, Academic Coordinator of the Media School. The National Anthem was sung in unison, followed by a batch-wise group photograph session with the guests and dignitaries.

The institution takes pride in fostering academic excellence and looks forward to continuing its tradition of nurturing future leaders. The Degree Distribution Ceremony was a testament to the institution's commitment to education, growth, and success.
