To provide employment to the youth, the ‘Vidya Sambal Yojana’ contract teacher recruitment brought by the Rajasthan government has been postponed to remove unemployment.
The Directorate of Secondary Education has issued an order to postpone the contractual teacher recruitment till further orders. Lakhs of applications had come to the education department. However, the information about why it has been postponed has not been revealed yet.
Vidya Sambal Yojana plan put on hold
At the same time, earlier ‘Vidyal Sambal Yojana’ had come under the scanner of protests and questions. To get jobs in this scheme, candidates have applied in more than 15-20 schools. Due to this, voices of protest started rising. Along with this, questions were also being raised that after all the candidates will be recruited on contract, then the teachers made from the examinations to be held in the coming month will come and on promotion, the place of the teachers already engaged will change, then what will happen to the candidates engaged on contract. No satisfactory answer was revealed from many regarding this also.
According to the information received, due to the absence of any rule regarding the application, the same candidate tried his luck and applied in many schools simultaneously to get the job. The situation has become such that many times more applications have come than the vacant posts in the school. Due to this, news of opposition to Vidya Sambal Yojana has also come from many areas. In such a situation, the local youths are protesting and demanding that priority should be given to the regional local youths of the school. If the youth from outside comes, then the rights of the local people will be killed.
