Meerut News: Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has given license for the establishment of Community Radio in the Chaudhary Charan Singh University. The frequency of this Community Radio is 90.8 12 hour Telecast will be done in the first phase. This telecast will help in improving and encouraging talent, education, academic, social awareness and developmental information. Also in order to encourage the youngsters, they will be asked to produce and prepare telecast in their own languages. The University is planning to start the radio by next month. The programs produced by the students will increase their confidence and help them in gaining confidence.
‘This will enable students to showcase their talent’
According to the Vice Chancellor of the University, this Community radio will be very helpful for the students, as this is one of the unique ideas to bring the talent of all the students in one platform. Students will be assigned different topics to prepare their telecast. This will keep the students busy apart from their studies.
‘Radio is the Medium of People’
The Dean of the University said that Radio is the medium of people. Like Narendra Modi express his feelings through a Monthly radio Program, this initiative will also help in shaping the future of lakhs of students. Once the Radio activity begins, the students will get occupied in producing shows.
