On the occasion of 22nd foundation day of Venkateshwara University, the university celebrate this day with organising “Blood Donation Camp” with the resolution of the spirit of world welfare and massive tree plantation”
Coincidentally, today is the birthday of Group Chairman Dr. Sudhir Giri.
Various cultural and colorful programs were organized on the foundation day, filled with love for the nation. In the next ten years, the main goal of University is to include Vaikteshwara in the list of top 20 universities of the country.
Dr. Rajiv Tyagi, Prati-Chancellor, will honor the sportspersons of with “Sports Award” on 16th August.
Notably, 501 shady and medicinal plants were also planted on the campus and on the national highway. On this occasion, the students of the university presented splendid cultural programs filled with patriotism. Along with this, the group chairman reiterated the goal of making the university among the top twenty institutions of the country on the basis of quality education in the next ten years, 74 units of blood were collected in the blood donation camp organized on the foundation day of Vaikteshwara Sansthan.
The program was inaugurated by Group Chairman Dr. Sudhir Giri and Pro-Chancellor Dr. Rajiv Tyagi, Vice Chancellor Prof. PK. Bharati, by lighting lamp in front of goddess Saraswati in Dr. CV Raman Central Auditorium.
In his address, Group Chairman Dr. Sudhir Giri said that on this day 22 years ago, Venkateshwara Educational Institute was started as a small group in Meerut, which is today more than two dozen educational institutions including four universities, two medical colleges. He said that his goal is to make the university one of the top 20 universities in the country in the coming ten years with a team of world class teachers.
Pro-Chancellor Dr. Rajiv Tyagi said that on August 16, the sportspersons of state and national level workers would be honored in the university campus. The program organized on the foundation day was also addressed by Vice Chancellor Prof. PK Bharti, Registrar Dr. Piyush Pandey etc. On this occasion, Meerut Campus Director Dr. Prabhat Srivasv, Deputy Director Distance Education Alka Singh, Joint Registrar Dr. Rajesh Singh, Dr. Anna Brown, Dr. Mohit Sharma, Pradeep Shama Vikas Kaushik, CFO Vikas Bhatia, Maroof Chaudhary, Anjali Sharma, Arun Kumar Goswami, Vishwas Rana, Dr. Sanjay Tiwari etc were present.
