Just days after a fatal plane crash shook the nation, Bigg Boss OTT 3 winner Sana Makbul chose to stood by it publicly with a sweet gesture. After celebrating her birthday abroad, Sana flew back to Mumbai with Air India. She even had a message for them, which was posted on her Instagram later.

On June 12, Air India’s A-171 flight from Ahmedabad to London crashed shortly after takeoff, killing 241 people on board. The incident sparked outrage and criticism of the airline’s safety standards. Amid the ongoing backlash, Sana’s choice to fly with Air India and share her support publicly caught everyone’s attention.

Sana Makbul Says ‘We Are With You, Air India’

Sana posted a photo on Instagram with her boarding pass and two female Air India crew members. She captioned it, “We are with you, Air India.” The message stood out as a show of support during a difficult time for the airline.

In another post, she shared a picture of her sprained foot resting against the seat’s screen, which displayed Air India’s “Namaste” greeting. She wrote, “Welcome Mumbai with a sprained foot.”

Sana Makbul has often used social media to share her personal life updates. The actress turned 32 on June 13 and had been celebrating abroad. However, she recently revealed a serious health issue, she has been diagnosed with liver cirrhosis due to an autoimmune condition, which she says is incurable.

Reflecting on life after Bigg Boss OTT 3, Sana had said, “After I came out of Bigg Boss (2024), I wanted to do more work. It opened doors for me, but I had to take a pause, and now my work has slowed down. However, that doesn’t mean I won’t work. My dream is to live a healthy life and keep working.”
