Animal Trailer: Ranbir Kapoor brings out the animal from within
As the year is approaching its end, the Indian Cinema seems to be doubling its efforts in producing potential blockbuster hits. Among several hyped hits lined up, Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal will also be out in the open soon. As the hype train continues to chug, the makers of the film have dropped its official trailer on YouTube recently. Ranbir’s thrilling performance as an obsessed son will give you goosebumps.
The trailer sets off with Ranbir’s character in a terrifying dialogue with his father (played by Anil Kapoor). Apparently, Ranbir urges Anil Kapoor to re-enact a scene from his childhood when his father ignored it, but this time, with the roles reversed. That is when his inner animal comes out. As the trailer progresses, we get to see the horrifying and bloody avatar of Ranbir who is hell-bent on proving his love toward his father. Things get extremely ugly when Anil Kapoor is shot by an enemy. Ranbir vows in a room filled with convicts that he will slice the throat of the person who shot his father with his own hands.
How did Rashmika Mandanna and Anil Kapoor fare alongside Ranbir?
Although the entire spotlight is stolen by Ranbir, Rashmika Mandanna and Anil Kapoor also look their best in the trailer. In the case of Anil Kapoor, one can see tremendous character development. One can see his transition from an angry and always-occupied father to one who fears his son’s love for him. On the other hand, Rashmika shows her daring side by uttering truth in frustration before Ranbir. Her performance looked extremely believable.
