The box office clash between Baaghi 4 and The Bengal Files is not going well for either film. Both were released on 5 September with high hopes, but the excitement has not lasted beyond the first weekend. Midweek collections show more drops, while Hollywood release The Conjuring Last Rites continues to lead.
Baaghi 4 Box Office Collection Day 6
Tiger Shroff’s Baaghi 4 carried the legacy of a hit franchise, but the film has not performed as expected. On Day 6 (Wednesday), it earned Rs 2.25 crore, down from Rs 4 crore on Tuesday. This brings its total to Rs 42 crore.
The film had opened at Rs 12 crore on Day 1, which still remains its best single-day figure. But after that, the numbers failed to grow. Despite adding more action and intensity, compared by some to the style of Animal, the film has not connected strongly with viewers. Among all four Baaghi movies, this one is showing the weakest trend.

The Bengal Files Box Office Collection Day 6
Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri’s The Bengal Files, the last part of his Files trilogy, is also struggling. On Day 6, it collected just Rs 1 crore, taking its total to Rs 10.25 crore.
The film opened at Rs 1.75 crore and climbed slightly over the weekend with Rs 2.25 crore on Saturday and Rs 2.75 crore on Sunday. But weekdays have been poor. Monday fell to Rs 1.15 crore, Tuesday picked up a bit at Rs 1.35 crore, and Wednesday dipped again. At this pace, the film may finish its run in the Rs 15–20 crore range, which is far below expectations.

The horror film has even broken records. It crossed Final Destination: Bloodlines (Rs 62.12 crore) to become the highest-grossing horror release in India. It has also beaten the combined collections of The Conjuring 2, Annabelle, and The Nun, making it the biggest horror success in the Indian market so far.
As the first week ends, the future looks uncertain for both Hindi films. Unless there is a major turnaround in collections, The Conjuring Last Rites is set to keep its lead and hold the September box office crown.
