Dacoit Review: Adivi Sesh And Mrunal Thakur Starrer An ‘Average’ Film?
Film critic @VenkyReviews shared his thoughts on X after watching Dacoit. In his Dacoit review, he called the film technically strong but weak in writing and screenplay.
He wrote, “#Dacoit. An average action love story that is technically strong, but the screenplay only works in parts. The film is technically sound. and that is its biggest strength. However, the screenplay and writing are where it falters in places. There are twists and turns to keep things moving, but they aren’t as effective as they should be.”
He also said that while a few scenes work well, many parts feel familiar and predictable. According to him, the film reminds viewers of earlier movies like Kshanam and Goodachari, which makes the story feel repetitive. He added that the climax twist feels too big and does not land well.
On performances, he wrote, “Adivi Sesh performs aptly in his role, but his Rayalaseema dialect should have been better. Mrunal is decent.” He rated the film 2.5 out of 5 stars and said it is watchable only with low expectations.
