Dhurandhar Box Office Collection Day 5
The journey so far has been remarkable for this big-budget actioner. The film opened with Rs 28 crore on Friday, rose to Rs 32 crore on Saturday, and then jumped 34% to Rs 43 crore on Sunday. Monday saw a dip, but Tuesday’s bounce shows strong audience interest. According to trade tracker Sacnilk, the total domestic collection now stands at Rs 152.75 crore.
This makes Dhurandhar Ranveer Singh’s highest grosser in six years, surpassing 2019’s Gully Boy (Rs 139.63 crore) and edging past his last solo hit, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani (Rs 153.55 crore), which collected Rs 153.55 crore in its lifetime. While pre-pandemic Simmba (2018) still holds his biggest lifetime collection at Rs 295 crore, Dhurandhar is expected to be his biggest post-pandemic success.
The film has a few days of solo run before Kapil Sharma’s Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 releases on Friday. Trade experts believe Ranveer’s strong performance could pose a threat to Kapil’s comedy. Later this month, Dhurandhar will also face competition from James Cameron’s Avatar: Fire and Ash (19 December) and two Hindi releases (Ikkis and Tu Meri Main Tera), which may challenge its box office dominance.

Ranveer Singh Starrer Cracks Massive OTT Deal
Amid its strong theatrical run, Dhurandhar has scored a massive OTT deal. Netflix has reportedly paid Rs 130 crore for the streaming rights to both parts, roughly Rs 65 crore each. A source told Bollywood Hungama that the deal is massive, especially at a time when OTT prices have fallen. It is also Ranveer Singh’s biggest OTT deal so far, considering both parts of Dhurandhar.
For comparison, Ranveer’s 2021 film 83 sold for Rs 30 crore on Netflix, while Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani earned Rs 80 crore from Amazon Prime Video. The deal shows how much anticipation and confidence there is in Dhurandhar.
