Don 3 Controversy: Actors Ranveer Singh and Farhan Akhtar are reportedly in a dispute that may now move to court. According to a fresh report, the Producers Guild of India has advised both sides to take the legal route. Mediation efforts failed to bring a settlement. As a result, the matter remains unresolved.

What Triggered Don 3 Dispute?
Reports claim that Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, who run Excel Entertainment, approached the guild seeking Rs 40 crore in compensation from Ranveer Singh. They reportedly wanted to recover pre-production costs after Ranveer’s sudden exit from Don 3.
Sources suggest the production house argued that the actor’s exit caused major financial losses. However, Ranveer is said to have denied responsibility.
During the guild meeting, both sides presented their case. Ranveer reportedly shared emails and WhatsApp chats to explain his position. On the other hand, Farhan and Ritesh stood firm on their demand.
Despite several discussions, no agreement was reached. The source said, “As an organisation, the Producers Guild of India can intervene only to a certain extent. With both parties standing firm, the guild members advised them to involve their legal teams and resolve the matter through the proper legal route.”
Netizens Once Again Criticise Farhan Akhtar
The report also revealed that several big names met at Aamir Khan’s Mumbai residence to find a solution. Among those present were Karan Johar, Sajid Nadiadwala, Ektaa Kapoor, Zoya Akhtar and Punit Goenka. However, the meeting did not lead to a settlement.
