The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday conducted searches at the premise of production company LYCA, the makers of Ponniyin Selvan. Search is currently underway at eight locations including T Nagar, Adyar, and Karapakkam. The production company is yet to respond to the allegations.

About LYCA production
The searches come after the central probe agency registered a money laundering case against the production house. LYCA production is known for producing films such as Ponniyin Selvan 1 and 2 among others. Established by Subaskaran Allirajah in 2014, LYCA production studio has been involved in the production and distribution of films made in South India.
The production house is yet to react to the raids.
