In the trailer of her upcoming flick, Kangana did not disappoint her fans and emerged as a showstopper once again. Portraying herself as Indira Gandhi, Kangana tried to maintain the authenticity of everything in Emergency. The way she walks, talks and even looks in the film trailer simply describes her as the best. The trailer starts with Anupam Kher as Jayaprakash Narayan writing a letter describing the whole nation's situation during the Emergency. The 1:50-minute trailer tried to give a glimpse of the finest. A Kangana Ranaut's dialogue that is stuck in everyone's head is 'India is Indira and Indira is India." Overall, the latest Emergency trailer has impressed many. 

Not a First Time for Kangana Ranaut's Emergency

Kangana Ranaut's self-produced film Emergency has faced multiple issues on different levels. The upcoming release date will be marked as the fourth release date of Kangana's directorial, as the film keeps on postponing. Set to release on 17th January, Kangana's film was first set to hit the theatres in November 2023, followed by June 2024 and 6th September 2024. In September, the film was expected to finally be released and that is when Kangana released a longer version of the official Emergency Trailer. It was a 2:54-minute trailer. However, CBFC did not give the certification to the film leading it to postpone once again.

To promote her upcoming film, Kangana on New Year's celebration reached Bigg Boss 18 house. Her catwalk on the sets of Salman Khan's show went viral among the netizens and everyone praised her diva appearance. On the show, she roasted many contestants including Avinash Mishra. She also gave her top four names, Karanveer Mehra, Vivian Dsena, Eisha Singh and Chum Darang.
