The renowned Tollywood director Arun Roy passed away at the age of 56 on 2nd Jan 2025. He is reported to have suffered a lung infection, this comes after his Cancer treatment which he was diagnosed with on the set of Bhaga Jatin. The famed director spent his last few days in the RG Kar Hospital before taking his last breath today. 1. Cholai (2016)

Arguably one of the best Arun Roy’s films is his 2016 directorial venture Cholai. It is a comedic take on the Bihar hooch tragedy that saw multiple people dead due to alcohol poisoning. 2. Hiralal (2021)
