Shah Rukh Khan upcoming films: The year 2023 will be an exciting one for Shah Rukh Khan as the actor is all set to make a comeback after four years. Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in 2018 film Zero also starring Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. In 2023, the actor has three projects in his pipeline including Pathaan, Dunki and Jawaan. All the three films are scaled on major budget and will see the actor in never-seen-before avatar. Pathaan will release in January itself. As we begin New Year 2023, a look at what SRKians have in store.
Pathaan
Pathaan starring Deepika Padukone with Shah Rukh Khan will release on January 25, 2023. This is duo’s foruth film together. They have previously featured together in Om Shanti Om, Happy New year, and Chennai Express. Directed by Siddharth Anand, Pathaan also stars John Abraham.
The trailer of Pathaan is yet to be released, but going by the teaser, the film appears to be an epic-action thriller with high octane actions performed by Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham.
Two songs — Besharam Rang and Jhoome Jo Pathaan — have been released by the makers so far. However, both the songs have opened to negative criticism, with Besharam Rang stirring controversy on religious grounds.
Dunki
Dunki marks first collaboration between Rajkumar Hirani and Shah Rukh Khan. Also starring Taapsee Pannu, the film is expected to release around Christmas this year. The actor had traveled to middle-east to shoot an important schedule of Dunki. As per the latest report, after wrapping up Pataan promotions, Shah Rukh will shoot for some under water sequences of the film.

Jawaan
Directed by Atlee, Jawan will see Shah Rukh starring opposite Nayanathara. Details related to the film are currently kept under wrap, but reports suggest the film will see Shah Rukh in double roles. In the teaser of Jawan, which was released on June 3, 2022, SRK appeared to be at his massiest best. The film is expected to release in theatres in June 2023.
