An online clip shows the War 2 star recreating a dance move from his childhood, and the internet is loving it.
The video has garnered over 1.2 million views and features Hrithik dancing with Rakesh Roshan in a light-hearted moment of nostalgia. The step he performed is from the 1982 Bollywood film Apna Bana Lo, where a young Hrithik made a brief appearance in the song “Main Hoon Deewana” alongside veteran actor Jeetendra. Hrithik was just six or seven years old, but his dance showed early signs of the star he would become.

Hrithik Gears Up For War 2 Release
Meanwhile, Hrithik Roshan is also gearing up for one of the biggest releases of the year—War 2. Scheduled to hit cinemas on August 14, 2025, Ayan Mukerji directs the action-packed sequel and is part of Yash Raj Films’ expanding Spy Universe.
This time, Hrithik faces off with Telugu superstar Jr NTR in what promises to be a high-voltage clash. One of the standout moments in the film is said to be a dance battle between the two stars, choreographed by Bosco Martis. Speaking about the experience, Hrithik shared that Jr NTR was “simply amazing” and revealed that the dance rehearsals felt like “a war themselves.”
Adding to the excitement, the two actors have also taken their rivalry beyond the screen. In a cheeky move, Jr NTR sent a billboard truck to Hrithik’s Mumbai home with a message that read, “Ghungroo toot jaayenge par hum se yeh war jeet nahi paoge.” Hrithik responded on social media and said, “Alright, challenge accepted.”
The film will be released in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil, ensuring a wide reach across regions. Alia Bhatt is expected to appear in the post-credit scene, making way for Alpha.
