Ikkis Poster: Agastya Nanda’s first look from his upcoming film Ikkis has been revealed, and fans are excited. The film will now be released in December 2025. It was postponed from October to avoid clashing with Rishab Shetty’s Kantara Chapter 1.
In the film, Agastya plays Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, India’s youngest Param Vir Chakra recipient. The movie honours the young officer who laid down his life during the 1971 India-Pakistan war. Veteran actor Dharmendra is also part of the cast.

More About The Film
The teaser shared earlier was emotional and powerful. It opens with a letter from the 1971 Battle of Basantar, telling Khetarpal’s father about his son’s sacrifice on December 16. The film then shows the battlefield in dark silhouettes, highlighting Arun’s bravery as he fights for his country.
Director Sriram Raghavan told PTI that the film will stay true to reality. He said, “It’s not a comic-book hero version.” The story focuses on Arun as a young soldier. It skips his early years and shows the moments leading to his sacrifice at just 21.
Raghavan added that while the film will have big war scenes, including tank battles, it is mainly a human story. He explained, “It is a bigger production; there will be tank battles and all those things that happen in a war film. But it is also a human story; it’s a drama, a coming-of-age kind of a thing.”
