According to trade tracker Sacnilk, Kantara Chapter 1 wrapped up its first week with Rs 337.4 crore net in India. On its ninth day, it earned Rs 22.25 crore. The film saw a major jump on its second Saturday, collecting Rs 37.16 crore. This 66% rise pushed its total to Rs 396.81 crore in 10 days.
The film now ranks among the top-grossing Indian movies of 2025. It has already surpassed big releases like Coolie, Saiyaara, and War 2 in domestic earnings. The only film ahead of it is Chhaava, but trade experts believe Kantara Chapter 1 will soon overtake that too.
When compared to Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava, Rishab Shetty’s film is clearly ahead. Chhaava collected Rs 326.75 crore in 10 days, while Kantara Chapter 1 earned Rs 396.65 crore during the same period (around 21% higher). With strong Sunday bookings, the film will finally cross Rs 400 crore today and could soon hit Rs 450 crore.
