The special screening of Laapata Ladies, which is directed by Kiran Rao and backed by Aamir Khan, was organized in Mumbai and was attended by several stars. Karan Johar also attended the event and watched the film with other stars. He has always been vocal about the new things happening in cinema and he praises people for trying something out of the box. Recently, he praised Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s film and now he showered praises on Kiran Rao’s directed Laapata Ladies. He took to his social media account to shower the makers and actors with praise and called it ‘one of the best films.’

Karan Johar never fails to boost the confidence of actors and directors by praising their work. He showered praises on the makers and cast of Laapata Ladies because he was impressed with the work. The famous filmmaker showered them with appreciation by posting a poster of the film on his Instagram account. Karan took to his Instagram account to praise Kiran Rao’s debut film as director.

About the film
Key parts in the movie are portrayed by Nitanshi Goel, Pratibha Ranta, Ravi Kishan, Sparsh Shrivastava, and Chhaya Kadam. Set in rural India, the story opens with two young brides getting lost on a train and starting a riot. The movie will hit theatres on March 1st, which is tomorrow.
