Janhvi Kapoor recalls Khushi Kapoor’s role after the demise of her mother

Karan Johar talked about the significant effect that losing a parent has on one’s sense of self during the talk. He discussed his observations from his talks with Janhvi Kapoor, highlighting Khushi Kapoor’s incredible resilience in dealing with their mother, Sridevi, passing away. In response, Khushi said that she needed some time to come to terms with and comprehend the truth of her mother’s death. She said that at first she was puzzled, but she felt that Janhvi and their father, Boney Kapoor, were there to assist her during those difficult times.

Janhvi Kapoor started speaking during this conversation and said, “The thing that I remember when I got the call I was in my room. I could hear wailing from Khushi’s room. I think I barged into her room howling and crying. But what I do remember, Karan, is the minute she looked at me, she just stopped crying. She just sat next to me and started comforting me. I have never seen her cry about it since.”

She is gearing up for Devaraa alongside Jr NTR.
