The controversy began after Chandrika said in the podcast, “agar mujhe bachcha paalne ke liye kisi ke saath sona bhi pade to aisa karne se main peeche nahi hatungi.”

After facing continuous trolling, Chandrika Dixit shared a video on Instagram and responded angrily to those criticising her. She claimed that her words were taken out of context and posted online only to gain views.
In the video, she said, “tum log views ke chakkar mein kisi ke upar kuch bhi tum log video banaye ja rahe ho. Tum logon ne bas ek-do vakya uthaye aur kaha ki Chandrika Dixit ne kisi ke saath bhi sone ke liye bol diya. Tumne saadhe teen ghante ka podcast dekha, jismein maine itni saari baatein kahi aur jaana ki maine wo kyun kaha.”
Chandrika explained that her statement was about struggle and survival, not about what people are trying to show. She said that life has been very difficult for her and she was only talking about how far a person can go when it comes to raising a child.
She further said, “kabhi meri rehdi utha li jaati hai, kabhi meri dukaan chheen li jaati hai. Maine eent uthana, roti banana… maine kaha ki jab last option hoga mere paas to main yeh bhi karungi. Main apne aap ko maarungi nahi, mere mein jab tak dum hai main chalungi. Kya galat bol diya? Tumhe views ke chakkar mein kisi ko bhi girana hai.”
