Mardaani 3 Box Office Collection Day 6: Mardaani 3 is facing a difficult run at the Indian box office. By Day 6, the Rani Mukerji-led cop thriller has continued to slow down, with weak collections during the weekdays. While the film is doing slightly better than Alia Bhatt’s Jigra over the same period, it is still far from a safe zone and has failed to recover even half of its reported budget.
As per Sacnilk figures, Mardaani 3 has earned around Rs 24.45 cr net in India in six days. The film saw some growth over the opening weekend, but collections dropped sharply once the weekdays began. With a reported budget of nearly Rs 60 cr, the pressure is now on the film to hold steady in the coming days.
Mardaani 3 Box Office Collection Day 6
Mardaani 3 opened with Rs 4 cr on Day 1. The film showed improvement over the weekend, collecting Rs 6.25 cr on Saturday and peaking at Rs 7.25 cr on Sunday. This helped the film post a decent three-day total.
However, the momentum did not last. On Monday, collections fell sharply to Rs 2.25 cr. Tuesday brought a small jump with Rs 2.6 cr, but the relief was short-lived. On Wednesday, Day 6, the film dropped again and earned Rs 2.1 cr. After six days, the total stands at Rs 24.45 cr, indicating low footfalls and limited repeat value.
DON'T MISS
In comparison, Jigra collected Rs 21.20 cr in its first six days. This gives Mardaani 3 a slight edge, but the difference is narrow. Neither film can be called a strong performer at this stage.
The comparison becomes more worrying when looked at within the franchise. Mardaani 2 earned around Rs 25 cr in its full India run. Mardaani 3 is still struggling to cross that figure even after six days, which is not an encouraging sign.
Another comparison is Yami Gautam‘s Article 370, which earned around Rs 32 cr in just six days. That film benefited from strong word of mouth and steady audience interest. Mardaani 3 has yet to show similar traction.

About Rani Mukerji Starrer
Released on January 30, Mardaani 3 follows SSP Shivani Shivaji Roy as she investigates the disappearance of over 90 young girls from poor backgrounds. The case becomes more serious when the daughter of an Indian ambassador is kidnapped. This leads Shivani to uncover a large network linked to child trafficking and the begging mafia.
Rani Mukerji returns as Shivani Shivaji Roy, while Mallika Prasad plays the antagonist “Amma”. The film also stars Janki Bodiwala, Prajesh Kashyap and Jisshu Sengupta. While the first half has been praised for its intensity, criticism around the predictable story and over-the-top second half appears to be affecting its box office performance.
Unless collections improve soon, Mardaani 3 may continue to struggle in the days ahead.
