Tom Cruise’s Mission Impossible - The Final Reckoning (Mission Impossible 8) is picking up pace at the Indian box office. The film collected Rs 40.25 crore in its first three days. While it hasn’t broken many records yet, the action thriller has made a strong impact.

The film hit Indian theatres before its US release. It has already crossed Rs 150 crore globally and is on track to reach Rs 50 cr in India, which is impressive ahead of its major market debut. In India, Saturday brought in Rs 16.5 crore, while Sunday earned Rs 17 crore. As expected, Monday witnessed a typical slowdown with Rs 6.75 crore (early estimates).

The English version dominated the Indian market with Rs 26 crore. The Hindi dubbed version followed with Rs 11.95 crore. Telugu and Tamil versions added Rs 1.4 crore and Rs 0.8 crore, respectively. Weekday drops are common, but all eyes are now on whether the film can cross Rs 100 crore in the coming days.

Despite the buzz around Mission Impossible 8, Ajay Devgn’s Raid 2 is still holding its own.

Raid 2 Box Office Collection Day 19

The action drama, which released on May 1, has earned Rs 151.50 crore in India so far. It continues to draw viewers even in its third week.

Even with competition from Cruise’s film and the horror flick Final Destination: Bloodlines, Raid 2 stayed steady. As per early estimates by Sacnilk, it made Rs 2.25 crore on Monday (Day 19). The film’s average Hindi occupancy reached 14.85%, with night shows touching nearly 20%.
