Monali Thakur Cancels Her Varanasi Show Midway, Slams Management, Says ‘I Hope I Grow So Big…’

In a video uploaded on Instagram, singer Monali Thakur can be seen addressing a crowd of fans over the poor management at her concert. The video is from the singer’s Varanasi concert which was held on 22n December 2024. In the video Monali Thakur points out all the things wrong with her show and says, ‘I hope I grow so big ki mai khud eska poora responsibility le pau.’

The popular singer Monali Thakur famous for her numerous hit songs such as Badri Ki Dulhania was performing a show in Varanasi on 22nd December 2024. However, in a video shared by the Instagram page ‘dalimss_news’ the singer can be seen apologising to the audience for cancelling her show midway. The video is captioned ‘Bollywood singer Monali Thakur abruptly ended her performance midway during a concert in Varanasi on December 22 and left the venue, citing "security reasons," according to a statement from her team.’

Monali Thakur Slams Show Management And Apologises To Fans

In the video the singer stops performing to address the crowd. She then goes on to slam the management of the show for being unethical and calls them a thief. The singer also pointed out the security issues she was facing and said that she would have hurt her ankle. Following this the singer apologised to the fans and abruptly cancelled her show before promising to return with a better event. 

Manli Thakur said, ‘I am disheartened ki mai itni excited thi, my whole team and us… mai infrastructure ko to chod hi deti hu, jo inka responsibility tha. Paise chori karne ke liye unhone stage kya banaya samjha nahi sakti, I can lose my ankle baar baar vahi keh rahi hoon.’ She continued further and ended by saying, ‘I hope I grow so big ki mai khud eska poora responsibility le pau. Aur kisi aese aere gaere faltu, irresponsible, unethical logo ke liye, unke bharose na au to begin with. I sincerely apologise that we are having to shut this show.’

Monali Thakur ended her time on stage by promising fans a new show. After this incident, the video was circulated on the internet and has since garnered over 3 million views.
