Oppenheimer trailer: Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film Oppenheimer has released a ‘thrilling’ trailer. The story is based on the life of scientist J. Robert Oppenheimer, who is most recognized for his contributions to the development of the atomic bomb. The scientist was the director of the Los Alamos Laboratory, where the bombs were physically constructed, and was a contributor to the Manhattan project, a government effort connected to the development of nuclear weapons that ran from 1942 to 1946.

The trailer starts with a little introduction of Oppenheimer as troubled man whose weaknesses have overshadowed his intelligence. The lead role of movie, J. Robert Oppenheimer, is played by Cillian Murphy as he makes the world’s first atomic bomb. The trailer shows worried scientist Oppenheimer as he doesn’t want to make an atom bomb because of its devastating capabilities but he has to make it to survive in the Second World War. He is seen saying that atom bomb can be more dangerous than they expect and he continues, “Theory will only take you so far. I don’t know if we can be trusted with such a weapon but we have no choice.”
