Former Miss World and India's one of the favourite actresses Priyanka Chopra recently talked to Hindustan Times and revealed her thoughts on Theater vs OTT. She expressed her opinions on the beauty of theaters. Priyanka said, "There’s nothing quite like entering a darkened theatre and watching a movie, not just with friends and family, but by a room full of strangers, all connected by the viewing experience." Priyanka also talked about the convenience of entertainment in today's world. She shed light on the subject that nowadays, thanks to OTT, anyone can watch anything at any time. However, she also talked about the impeccable experience big screen brings. Desi girl said, "I don’t think the magic of movie theatres will ever fade." 

Innovation in Theaters is An Important Factor

While talking to the Hindustan Times, Priyanka Chopra also expressed the importance of theater innovation which is responsible for bringing back the audience from OTT to theaters. Priyanka talked about the 3D to IMAX shift, improving sound experiences and the unmatched vibe of theaters.

Priyanka Starring in SS Rajamouli's Upcoming Film with Mahesh Babu

Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra is making noise for her highly anticipated comeback in Indian films. PinkVilla reported that Priyanka will star alongside Mahesh Babu in RRR and Baahubali franchise director SS Rajamouli's next. Pinkvilla said that the upcoming film is an African Jungle adventure. It also reported that the scripting is the final stage and the film's shoot will start in April 2025. SS Rajamouli chose Priyanka for this role after major discussions with her in the past year, as he wanted a global face for the upcoming film.

Priyanka Chopra's schedule like always is jam-packed. The actress is currently shooting for season 2 of her famous show Citadel. Priyanka Chopra will be back as Nadia soon. Apart from that she has completed the shoot of the upcoming film The Bluff. Heads of State is another film lined up for Priyanka. She also recently co-produced a Marathi film, Paani and she last appeared in the 2023 film Love Again directed by James C. Strouse.
