Rahul Roy is back in the spotlight after a series of viral Instagram reels sparked strong reactions online. The Aashiqui star was seen appearing with a content creator, lip-syncing and romancing to some of his old hit songs. While some fans felt emotional seeing the actor again, others mocked the videos and called them “cringe.”

The trolling soon turned into a bigger conversation after Rahul Roy posted an emotional message on Instagram. The actor addressed those making fun of him and explained why he continues to work despite health struggles and legal responsibilities.

Rahul Roy Responds To Viral Reels Backlash

Earlier this week, videos of Rahul Roy with content creator Dr Vanita Ghadage Desai began circulating widely on social media. In the clips, the actor was seen dancing and lip-syncing to classics like Tere Dar Pe Sanam and songs from Aashiqui and Phir Teri Kahani Yaad Aayee.

Soon after the trolling began, Rahul Roy shared a heartfelt note. He wrote, “I do my work with honesty and modesty. I have some legal matters to pay for, and these are not from today, they are from before the brain stroke happened. If you mock my simplicity or make fun of my struggles, it says less about me and more about you. If you are truly so concerned, then help me find some genuine and decent work so I can pay for these cases. At least I am earning through hard work, not by mocking others”

Yes, it may hurt a little sometimes, but you cannot break me.”

His message received warm responses in the comments section. Filmmaker Farah Khan wrote, “Good luck to you Rahul”, while actor-host Maniesh Paul commented, “Love and respect, more power to you sir.”
