Raja Shivaji Box Office Collection Day 8: Downtrend Continues As Film Nears Rs 60 Cr – Can Riteish Deshmukh Starrer Surpass Ved Lifetime This Weekend?

Raja Shivaji slips further on Day 8 but still nears Rs 60 cr. A strong weekend push will help it cross Ved lifetime.

Raja Shivaji Box Office Collection Day 8:Riteish Deshmukh’s historical epic Raja Shivaji is witnessing a gradual slowdown at the box office as it enters its second week. On Day 8, the film once again recorded a dip in collections, even though it continues to hover close to the Rs 60 cr mark in India net earnings. The film remains in focus due to its strong opening week, but the current trend shows cooling momentum.

The film opened to a powerful response and crossed key milestones quickly in its first week. However, weekday drops and softer occupancy levels are now affecting its pace. While weekend boosts earlier helped build a strong base, sustaining that energy has become a challenge as new weekdays set in.

Raja Shivaji Box Office Collection Day 8

According to Sacnilk, Raja Shivaji collected around Rs 3.20 cr net in India on Day 8. This marks a further decline from the previous day and confirms a continued downward trend in its second week. With this, the film’s total India net collection stands at approximately Rs 55.85 cr. The numbers suggest that while the film is still performing steadily in select regions, overall footfall has reduced on weekdays. Occupancy levels also dipped across multiple circuits, though Maharashtra and a few core markets continue to support the film better than others.

Raja Shivaji is now just a step away from the Rs 60 cr milestone. However, the speed of earnings has clearly slowed down. The film’s current trajectory suggests that reaching the mark is likely, but the timing will depend heavily on weekend growth. Trade reports indicate that a stronger second weekend could help the film cross Rs 60 cr comfortably.

Whether Raja Shivaji can surpass the lifetime collection of Riteish Deshmukh’s earlier success Ved. The gap has narrowed and the record will be achieved soon.
