Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case has been the talk of the town for quite some time now with murkier revelations being made everyday. In a major development, the Narcotics Control Bureau(NCB) on Tuesday accessed WhatsApp chat between Sushant’s house manager Samuel Miranda and two drug dealers Basit Parihar and Zaid Vilatra.
The media reports suggested that Samuel had met the peddlers in Mumbai’s Bandra and purchased drugs worth Rs 10,000. Meanwhile, the rumour has that Rhea Chakraborty’s brother Showik was also involved with the drug peddlers and in fact, he was the one who had introduced Samuel to Basit. Thereafter, Basit introduced Samuel to Zaid. As per sources, Samuel would often send his staff to collect drugs from Zaid.
Republic TV, on Wednesday, claimed to have accessed “explosive chats” between Showik Chakraborty and a friend from October 2019. In the chats, Showik reportedly admitted to know drug peddlers – Zaid and Basit.
Meanwhile, NCB has arrested Zaid in connection with the drug trafficking case concerning the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
Meanwhile, the NCB has registered a criminal case against Rhea, Showik and her talent manager Jaya Saha and a Goa based hotelier Gaurav Arya under several sections of the NDPS Act.
According to reports, Rhea and Gaurav had allegedly exchanged messages about supplying of drugs. The accessed chats hinted their possible connection in drug dealing.
Gaurav Arya on the Monday and Tuesday was quizzed by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with the death of Sushant Singh Rajput.
