Saiyaara Teaser Review, Ahaan Panday And Aneet Padda

YRF has finally dropped Saiyaara teaser and it’s giving off major heartbreak energy with Mohit Suri’s signature style written all over it. Starring debutant Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, the film dives into an emotional tale of love, loss, and longing.

Yash Raj Films released the 1-minute-15-second teaser online and wrote, “It’ll break your heart and heal it too.” That sums up the vibe perfectly. Directed by Mohit Suri, known for Aashiqui 2, Ek Villain, and Malang, the film appears to revisit his classic emotional romance formula with brooding looks, intense moments, and a haunting background score.

About Saiyaara Teaser

Ahaan Panday makes a strong first impression in his debut. He plays a rockstar struggling with love and heartbreak (something Aashiqui 2 and fans will relate to instantly). The teaser captures different shades of his character as he goes from a shirtless romantic to an emotionally intense lover. His energy feels raw and confident, and it feels like he’s ready for the big screen.

Aneet Padda joins him as the female lead. While the chemistry is visible, she doesn’t quite make a lasting impact in this brief teaser. However, there’s hope her role will shine more in the full trailer and the film itself.

Teaser Of Ahaan Panday Starrer Gives Familiar Feel

The visuals bring in all the expected Suri aesthetics like rainy streets, dim lighting, emotional slow-mo shots. The soundtrack builds tension with a haunting vibe. Aneet’s poetic voiceover about the meaning of “Saiyaara” adds depth to the mood. It clearly aims to create a tear-jerking romantic ride.

Still, the teaser does feel a little all over the place. There are too many moments packed in without a clear narrative thread. It feels like a remix of Mohit Suri’s earlier hits - part Malang, part Aashiqui 2, but not quite something fresh yet.

A still from Saiyaara Teaser

That said, Saiyaara still has potential. The emotion, music, and fresh faces are there. If the trailer can focus the story better and give a new angle, this could be one of 2025’s most talked-about romances.

Produced by Akshaye Widhani under YRF, Saiyaara hits theatres on July 18, 2025. It’s set to clash with Anupam Kher’s Tanvi The Great.
