Bigg Boss 19 is now close to its finale, and the excitement around the show is growing fast. The Salman Khan–hosted reality show has once again shown how strong it is on OTT. This week, the show ruled the non-fiction category in India. It also stayed far ahead of every other title on the list. Fans are clearly hooked as the finale comes near.
Bigg Boss 19 Viewership Rises Ahead Of Finale
A new Ormax report says Bigg Boss 19 recorded 7.1 million views on JioHotstar between November 17 and 23. This helped the show keep its No. 1 spot in the Top 5 OTT non-fiction shows.
The vibe inside the house has been very emotional because of Family Week. These moments usually boost viewership, and the same happened again. Last week, the show had 6.8 million views. So this week’s jump shows how much interest is rising. Fans also want to know who will make it to the finale, and that curiosity is helping the numbers.
This is how the Top 5 OTT non-fiction shows performed this week:
1st: Bigg Boss 19 – 7.1 million views
2nd: Laughter Chefs Season 3, which began on 22 November
3rd: Indian Idol Season 16 on SonyLIV – 1.6 million views
4th: Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 17 on SonyLIV – 1.4 million views
5th: Bigg Boss Tamil Season 9 on Jio–Star–Hotstar – 1.3 million views
The makers of Laughter Chefs 3 are also happy with their strong start. Their show entered the list at No. 2, right behind Bigg Boss 19.
Four contestants To Compete For Ticket-To-Finale
The game inside the house is very intense now. Tonight’s episode has the Ticket to Finale task. This task gives one contestant a direct chance to reach the finale. The garden area has been turned into a fire-and-ocean themed arena for this round.
The contestants played in pairs. Each one had a helper who was chosen by the opponent. They had to fill a jute bag with dry grass whenever the horse buzzer rang. The contestant with the heavier bag in each round moved forward.
Here is what happened in all four rounds:
| Round | Contestants | Helpers | Winner |
|---|---|---|---|
| Round 1 | Tanya Mittal vs. Ashnoor Kaur | Pranit for Tanya; Gaurav Khanna for Ashnoor | Ashnoor |
| Round 2 | Pranit vs. Shehbaz Badesha | Gaurav for Pranit; Ashnoor for Shehbaz | Pranit |

| Round 4 | Amaal Mallik vs. Farrhana Bhatt | Amaal for the former; Gaurav for the latter | Farrhana |
After these rounds, Ashnoor, Pranit, Gaurav and Farrhana are now the four contenders for the Ticket to Finale. It will be interesting to see who reaches finale and who lifts the trophy.
