Actress Daisy Shah has spoken openly about her views on marriage, and she is not mincing words. The Jai Ho star says she is content being single and does not feel any pressure to tie the knot. In a recent interaction, Daisy Shah shared honest thoughts about relationships, independence and emotional security.
Daisy Shah, who made her Bollywood debut opposite Salman Khan in Jai Ho, appeared in a chat withFilmygyan. At 41, the actor made it clear that marriage is not something she is actively considering.
She said, “It’s not about money because I earn well enough for myself. I just cannot become the mother of a grown man. I have my own money, but you should also be earning at a certain level. Sweet talk feels good in the beginning, but not later.”

During the conversation, she admitted that the constant news of breakups around her has shaped her perspective. She said seeing couples separate so frequently has made her more cautious.
She shared, “Every day something is happening. Some couple or the other is separating. It’s very scary.”
Daisy Shah also revealed that several men in her life assumed she was ready for marriage. However, she explained that she never shared that mindset.
She said, “I don’t have any alternative thoughts about marriage. I’ve left everything to God. I don’t think you need to get married to build a family.”
The actor emphasised that independence plays a key role in her choices. She believes love alone cannot guarantee long-term stability. According to Daisy Shah, financial security is equally important for a balanced life.

The film is described as a grounded thriller focused on urban suspense rather than spectacle.
