Samantha to return for an item number in Pushpa 2?
Samantha’s ‘Oo Antava’ continues to be chart buster, even after 1.5 years of its release. After the makers dropped Pushpa 2 teaser, fans have been questioning if Samantha will also return for another item number as Pushpa Raj gears to rule. The actor has finally clarified that she is not a part of Pushpa 2.
According to a Hindustan Times report, Samantha has clarified that she will not be a part of the sequel. She also added that she will not be doing an item number if the film. “No that’s not happening it you’re asking me. I’m not doing any songs before you got there,” she said.
Pushpa 2 teaser
The makers of Pushpa released the teaser of Pushpa 2 or Pushpa: The Rule on the eve of Allu Arjun’s birthday eve. The teaser saw people gathering in flocks against Police’s warrant to Pushpa Raj. Everybody is searching for him when a glimpse caught of him by CCTV shows Tiger being fearful of him. Pushpa Raj’s glimpse has sent internet into a tizzy with fans waiting for Allu Arjun’s mass entertainer to release in theatres. The makers, however, are yet to announce a release date.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu is currently promoting her upcoming film Shaakuntalam. The film will release in theatres on April 14. Aside from Shaakuntalam, Samantha also as Kushi with Vijay Deverakonda in her pipeline. The actor will also play the leading role in Raj & DK’s Citadel.
