Renowned actor Shah Rukh Khan reportedly suffered an accident while shooting in Los Angeles, leading to urgent surgery. Now back in India, the superstar is recuperating at home, as per the latest updates.
The Surgery Explained
After the accident, Khan was spotted sporting a bandage on his nose, fueling concern among fans. It was later revealed by a close source that during the shoot in LA, the actor had an unfortunate incident resulting in an injury to his nose. Following immediate hospitalisation, the medical team confirmed a minor operation was necessary to cease the bleeding.
A History of Injuries
This is not Khan’s first encounter with accidents or subsequent surgeries. With a career spanning more than three decades in Bollywood, the actor has previously faced several injuries. As recent as 2017, he had a minor surgery, and earlier, during the shoot of ‘Raees’, he injured his knee, which required surgical intervention. Also notable is his eighth surgery post the completion of ‘Chennai Express’ in 2013.
Recent Activities and Upcoming Projects
The actor recently marked his 31st year in the Indian film industry. Known for his sense of humour, Khan amused his fans during a Twitter Q&A session. When asked about the use of his iconic song “Chaiyya Chaiyya” during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s US visit, he jested about his absence and the lack of a train.
Despite the recent setback, Khan’s projects are well underway. After a four-year pause, Khan returned to the big screen earlier this year with the action-packed blockbuster ‘Pathaan’. He’s currently working on another action-thriller ‘Jawan’, set for release this September. Directed by Atlee, the film features Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi. Khan’s production company, Red Chillies Entertainment, is producing the film. Additionally, he’s part of Rajkumar Hirani’s upcoming film ‘Dunki’ alongside Taapsee Pannu, the release date of which remains to be announced.
