Son Of Sardaar 2 First Poster OUT: Ajay Devgn Stands Tall In His ‘Sardaar’ Look, Clash Is ON With Sidharth Malhotra’s Param Sundari!

Ajay Devgn is back as Jassi in Son Of Sardaar 2. The actor shared the first poster of the film on Thursday and confirmed that it will hit cinemas on July 25. This sequel brings Ajay back to the comedy-action space after a long time.

But the release date also means a big box office clash. Son Of Sardaar 2 will go up against Param Sundari, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor. Both films are set to release on the same day, making July 25 a packed weekend for Bollywood fans.

In the poster, Ajay Devgn is seen in a full Sardaar look, standing tall on a missile launcher. Wearing a turban and looking intense, his look has already gone viral. Along with the poster, he wrote: “The return of the Sardaar. #SOS2 in cinemas near you on 25th July. #SardaarIsBack”.

The film is directed by Vijay Kumar Arora and features Mrunal Thakur opposite Ajay. It is produced by Ajay Devgn, Jyoti Deshpande, N R Pachisia, Pravin Talreja, and Fox Star Studios. The movie promises a mix of action, humour, and Punjabi flavour, much like the 2012 original.

Ajay Devgn Returns To Comedy With This Sequel

The first Son Of Sardaar clashed with Jab Tak Hai Jaan back in 2012, but still became a box office hit, collecting over Rs 161 crore globally. The film starred Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjay Dutt, and Juhi Chawla and was a remake of the Telugu film Maryada Ramanna.

Ajay has recently done serious roles in films like Singham Again, Bholaa, Maidaan, and Shaitaan. With Son Of Sardaar 2, he returns to the comedy-action genre that fans love. While it may not be as crazy as Golmaal, it promises full-on entertainment.
