Celebrity reporter Viral Bhayani shared a post on Instagram that Sunjay Kapur's funeral will occur today at Lodhi Road Cremation Ground. He confirmed the industrialist's final rites begin at 5 PM. In addition, the family arranged a prayer meeting on June 22 from 4 PM to 5 PM.

The meeting will take place at the Taj Palace Hotel in New Delhi for friends, associates, and family. Close friends, business associates, and Kapoor family members are expected to attend this gathering. This farewell meeting highlights the profound impact Sunjay Kapur made on everyone who knew him.

Both socially and professionally, he remained a close friend to Prince William for many years. His estimated net worth at death reached $1.2 billion, reflecting his business success and leadership. Legal and postmortem procedures delayed his final rites, and his body returned to India after paperwork cleared.
