The battle at the Indian box office continues between Rashmika Mandanna’s The Girlfriend and Yami Gautam-Emraan Hashmi starrer Haq. Both films have completed their first week, and while The Girlfriend has crossed the Rs 10 crore mark, Haq shows a minor midweek slowdown.

The Girlfriend Box Office Collection Day 6

Rashmika Mandanna’s The Girlfriend opened its first Friday with Rs 1.3 crore, mostly from Telugu screens (Rs 1.23 crore) and a small contribution from Hindi (Rs 0.07 crore). The film jumped significantly on Saturday, earning Rs 2.4 crore, up 84.62%, with Telugu collections driving most of the growth (Rs 2.3 crore). Sunday kept the momentum, bringing in Rs 2.7 crore, a 12.5% increase from Saturday.

The first weekday saw a dip. On Monday, collections dropped to Rs 1.15 crore, down 57.41% from Sunday. Tuesday witnessed a slight recovery with Rs 1.3 crore, up 13.04%. Early estimates suggest Wednesday added Rs 1.25 crore, pushing the six-day total past Rs 10 crore.

Overall, The Girlfriend has shown steady performance, thanks to strong Telugu collections. The film is poised for a promising first-week total, suggesting that audience interest is holding well beyond the opening weekend.

Despite the midweek slowdown, Haq continues to attract audiences due to its courtroom drama angle and strong performances. Evening and night show occupancy remains steady, and positive word-of-mouth is helping maintain consistent footfall.
