Filming for The Traitors Season 2 has started at the grand Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. Filmmaker and host Karan Johar has returned to host the show once again. Reports say the new season will be bigger, more dramatic and full of unexpected twists.
According to the latest updates, nearly 20 celebrities may join the show this time. The rumoured list includes popular reality TV stars, actors, and social media influencers. Because of this strong line-up, the upcoming season is already creating a lot of buzz online even before the official announcement.
Sources close to the production say that shooting for The Traitors Season 2 has already started and a few scenes have been filmed. The makers are planning a grand season with more strategy, more mind games and tougher competition.
The Traitors Season 2 Contestants List Includes Bigg Boss Winners
Online reports suggest that several famous reality show winners may take part in the new season. Names like Munawar Faruqui, Elvish Yadav, Rubina Dilaik and Shweta Tiwari are said to be locked for the show. All of them have won different seasons of Bigg Boss, which makes the competition more interesting.
Apart from them, reports also mention the possible participation of Abhishek Malhan, also known as Fukra Insaan. Other rumoured names include Mallika Sherawat, Rhea Chakraborty, Sanjay Kapoor, Dalip Tahil, Shalini Passi, Aaditya Kulshreshth (Kullu Baazi) and several influencers.
Fans React To Reports Of Elvish Yadav And Abhishek Malhan Joining Together
As soon as the rumoured list went viral on social media, fans started reacting. Most reactions were about Elvish Yadav and Abhishek Malhan being part of the same show.
Many users were surprised, while some asked Elvish not to do the show because of his past rivalry with Fukra Insaan. One user wrote,

The first season of The Traitors India was released in 2025 and became popular for its suspense and twists. In Season 1, Uorfi Javed and Nikita Luther won the show after identifying the final traitors Harsh Gujral and Purav Jha. They took home prize money of Rs 70.5 lakh.
